The Orphan I Am Chronicles – 81

Up early and getting much done, with still a lot of the day left! I hope that everyone’s weekend is going well so far. I’m going on very little sleep here but that creative flow is still, well, flowing.

I am going to make a road trip here soon to talk with my crew and also finalize pricing on rental equipment we will be needing. Although I’ve talked with them over the phone, I have to put my hands on what we need and also make sure we aren’t forgetting anything….while trying to keep the budget as low as possible.

Made my usual rounds through-out the net, my Twitter acct, Facebook and Kickstarter and email accounts. I had contacted an actress who last I heard had moved to Canada somewhere. Initially we had replied to her interest in the role of Amani aka the Face Painter, but she seems to have disappeared off the radar and unfortunately we need a commitment before summer.

I spent the better part of the night generating suitable character sides and also enjoyed watching the movie, ‘Elysium’. Which was a good film but did have some of what I call, oversights (not flaws) in the story and a bit of a predictable ending. But it was indeed entertaining.

My food has arrived and I must soon get back to writing…peace tone
