The Orphan I Am Chronicles – 55

So I finally broke free of my brief reclusive lifestyle and am relieved that my mind is still intact. I have missed reading some of your blogs and do apologize for my absence, again. But I get this way sometimes, those of you who have followed me, know that on occasion, I do ‘disappear’. But in my absence, I’ve accomplished much in my writing, well by jotting down thoughts on whatever I could, I found myself frantically searching for a napkin which I scribbled a short sentence, a brilliant thought (I hope) that would be the fuel for another direction for a storyline I have recently been struggling with.

But I did indeed find this fragile paper and although the sentence was somewhat smudged by the glass of iced-green tea which held it in place, it was still readable, barely. But as I wrote and saved, I had realized by glancing at the calendar, that I have been away a bit too long from here, as well as on-line. The good thing is that, I have hardly ever logged into Facebook anymore and you know what? I don’t miss it, in fact I have grown tired of it and its many annoying ads.

Enough of me and my absence, what have you all been up to? Has your summer been full of travels with all its memorable tales? Over the next few days I will read some of what you have blogged.
