The Orphan I Am Chronicles – 36

JTC aka Jasmine The Cat

Okay here’s another person posting a pic of the family pet which happens to be a cat, our cat, my cat, which I say proudly. I never really thought I could have a cat as a pet and most important, a cat which is indeed part of the family. We got JTC just over three years ago, she was just barely a year old when she strolled into our home. I was reluctant when my youngest son Michael asked if we could keep her, but by the time she made her way in and out the shelves, behind the couch, found places to perch and observe while snuggling in my lap, she instantly was accepted.

So with this short blog, a mere introduction if you will, an introduction of a creature who at times behaves more alien – like and even perches high atop anything, looking over her domain below, a striking image as her shadow casts the floor below, I am reminded of Batman high atop Gotham City as she watches for pests and a good reason to pounce and move about ninja-like while quickly darting away into her own dark desolate place sometimes for hours on end. I introduce JTC, aka Jasmine The Cat…
